Christina (they/them) began tattooing in 2019, and opened Bestiary Tattoo in the Fall of 2024. They are queer tattooer, visual artist and designer who has lived in Chicago for nearing a decade after moving from the deep South ⟡
The tattoos they like to draw typically have a bold, graphic line with imagery such as hand-held every day objects, goth/victorian ornamentation, botanical studies, fictitious plants & animals, pointy weaponry, moon-lit scenery, insects, jewelry, etc. Aside from their pre-drawn designs, they delight in drawing pieces directly onto a certain placement for their clients which is a typically pretty collaborative process, and every session is a little different. They would also love to hear your ideas for custom concepts if you think they'd be a good fit for their style.
You can sign up here to receive a semi-regular email newsletter from Christina including shop updates and new designs, straight to your inbox. You can also find bestiary tattoo on Bluesky. Thanks for your interest & support!
Silas (they/he) is a queer, trans, and neurodivergent tattoo artist. He tattoos in an illustrative style which mainly consists of various whimsical and fantasy-esque things! Some of his favorite things to tattoo are video game characters, any type of lady (lady face, fairy, harpy, etc.), creatures, bugs, weapons, and more!!!
Outside of tattooing, they spend most of my time playing video games, drawing, doing crafts, training their dog, or going on adventures. Some of their favorite video games are elden ring and skyrim. They also love adventure time, weird history (victorian era is my favorite), makeup, and music.
Their favorite artists are Animal Collective, Tigers Jaw, Neutral Milk Hotel, of Montreal, Kimya Dawson, Radiator Hospital, Fall Out Boy, Sleater-Kinney, Deerhunter, The Velvet Underground, My Chemical Romance, Xiu Xiu, Capn Jazz, and so many more :D
Silas takes pride in making clientele feel comfortable and listened to. Being neurodivergent myself, they struggle with sensory and social processing, so they’re passionate about making sure my clients are feeling safe, happy and heard during their sessions. If you need accommodations, please let him know when you book!

They moved here from a small sundown town in the Northeast a few years ago, and found community and love in the city almost immediately.
Outside of tattooing, they run furry parties in Chicago’s North side (Fuzzed), 3D model, and read lots of nasty horror novels.
